The sales and marketing manager of Hotel Morjan, Dieter Eberle, was actually looking for a Digital Guest Directory when he came across Hotelcore. What convinced him in the end was the combination of several solutions: not only the Digital Guest Directory for the guests’ own smartphones and the Info Channel for the hotel TV, but also the Hotelboard for communication within the team. All modules are interlinked and cover the entire guest journey.

In this success story, we will focus in particular on the Hotelboard by Hotelcore, as it quickly became the centre of all on-site communication at Hotel Morjan. It combines task management and team communication and ensures more efficient processes in the hotel business. In concrete terms, this means that the Hotelboard structures the individual tasks of the employees, bundles the guest enquiries that are made via the digital guest directory and enables the team to coordinate with each other (online) regardless of location.

This means that all communication with guests is centralised in one place, even within the team. For example, if a guest requests a packed lunch or cancels room cleaning via the Digital Guest Directory, the request is sent directly to the hotel board. The receptionists at Hotel Morjan answer the guests’ messages there and forward them to the restaurant or housekeeping team for processing without losing any time. Thanks to clear responsibilities and short communication channels, no request remains unfulfilled in the hustle and bustle of everyday hotel life.
